Sergei Fedorov is already out injured, so if I didn't know better I would say that this means a trade is in the works. If so it would be about freaken time. Rumors of Nylander to Chicago have been occuring nearly every day since July. But as I said, I know better. Nylander is under contract for 2 more years after this one and has a no trade clause in his contract. And as a 36 year old man with a wife and 6 kids all happy in the DC area I just can't see it happening. If it's just a case of Boudreau trying to send a message, I must say that it's coming at a very strange time. I guess Laich will center the second line tonight.
Don't worry everyone, it's just a rumor...until it happens.
